He didn’t check his messages or the news instead he stared at his wallpaper.

It was a photo of Ishani that he had secretly taken during his brother wedding.

In the photo she was laughing, her eyes bright and full of life. She looked so innocent, completely unaware of the monsters hiding in the dark.

Vihan traced her face on the screen with his thumb his expression softening for just a second before turning cold again.
